Notorious! Hawai’i Irish Dance fan film tribute to Irish boxing legend, Conor McGregor. This video was inspired by the song “Notorious”, by one of our very favorite bands, The Black Donnellys. Hawaii Irish Dance instructor Lynn Scully developed the choreography, which is based on the traditional Irish ceili dance, Siege of Ennis. The dance came first and it was so cute and silly that we thought we should make a video to share with you all.
Award winning band The Black Donnellys are a Celtic Rock duo composed of the expansive singing talents of Dave Rooney, paired with the amazing guitar and mandolin skills of Dave Browne. The band recently embarked on an ambitious world record breaking tour to play in all 50 states in just 40 days. Their story from the road is the subject of a documentary entitled, This is My Home. When they are not touring, The Black Donnellys currently call Las Vegas home and are the resident band at Rí Rá Irish Pub at Mandalay Bay.
